Rochford District Economic Growth Strategy Consultation Survey

Rochford District Council have refreshed the Economic Growth Strategy for 2025 – 2028.

The strategy provides a strategic overview of the council’s key areas of focus across four economic growth pillars:

 Town Centre Regeneration: Revitalising the Hubs of our Communities

 Growing Businesses: Nurturing a Thriving Local Economy

 Skills: Building a Workforce for the Future

 Sustainability: Building a Green and Resilient Economy

The strategy identifies the key priorities for the council over the next three years and an action plan outlining deliverables. The action plan will be subject to annual review, the current plan covering 1 April 2025 - 31 March 2026.

Our new Economic Growth Strategy sits alongside our newly adopted Corporate Plan and the Culture and Visitor Economy Strategy to deliver the very best for the Rochford District.

This survey wishes to consult with the local business community to obtain their views on the four growth pillars identified above and the accompanying action plan for 2025-26.

Please review the four growth pillars and their associated actions. Please also provide your feedback on each one and suggest any improvements you may have to better deliver these, where necessary.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Your insights will help shape the future direction of our local business community.
